Collision Works Restores Vehicle for Olathe’s Inclusion Connections

(OLATHE, KANSAS) – Collision Works has donated their time and services to provide a newly restored car for the National Body Council’s (NABC) Recycled Rides™ program. The vehicle will be awarded to Inclusion Connections (https://ickc.org/), a nonprofit organization that serves individuals with developmental disabilities by creating inclusive opportunities for community involvement, access to meaningful employment and better options for independent living. They will use the car to enhance lives as it will help transport program participants to jobs and events where they will advance in their skills, opportunities and abilities through the program.

The NABC Recycled Rides™ program along with Collision Works and Farmers Insurance® are hosting a ceremonial event Thursday, June 20 at 2 p.m. at the Farmers Insurance office located at 16580 W. 119th Street in Olathe to award the new vehicle to Inclusion Connections. There will be hotdogs provided by Collison Works along with tours of the Farmers Insurance CAT bus.

“We have enjoyed working with the NABC Recycled Rides™ program and Farmers Insurance® to provide a reliable vehicle for such a deserving organization in our community,” said Sam Sims, Collison Works Vice President of Communications. “Everyone from the Collision Works team enjoyed working on the repair and we look forward to seeing the positive impact the vehicle has for Inclusion Connections.”

Since its inception in 2007, the NABC Recycled Rides™ program has provided more than 2,000 vehicles valued at $36 million to individuals and organizations, bringing together collision repair, insurance and other companies in the collision industry in an effort to make a difference by giving refurbished vehicles to deserving recipients who can benefit from reliable transportation.
